I created a video during the past week. Like I said, I've only gone to one BC Concert, but I had enough footage to make a movie out of it; you know, just a little film to enjoy/encourage people to go to the concerts. Well, after spending many long hours of my life making this video, hours that cannot be replaced, I finally finished it.

I've never made a Youtube account because I don't like the hostility of some users on there, but in this case, I actually went so far as to create one just so that I could display this video to the world. The file uploaded and my heart soared--you have no idea...it...jumped, almost. But then it sunk ten feet into the floor when I received an e-mail two seconds later explaining that, while the footage and photography used in the video was solely my own...the song playing was Brian Culbertson's "All About You"...which is owned or licensed to WMG, therefore, I'm violating copyright claims or whatever. For this reason, they blocked the video and I was heartbroken because I think that's the only place I can play it...maybe...

Here's my question: would this network sue me if I were to upload a video using a Brian Culbertson song that I obviously do not own? I was talking to my mom about it, but she wasn't sure. The thing is, I'm scared that if I were to upload my video here, they'd think I was trying to claim the song as my own or something and I'd

a)get sued
b)get my account on here deleted
c)both (which I do not want!!!)

I worked so hard on this video, and although I'm not happy with what happened on Youtube, I can understand why they'd take it so seriously. It doesn't matter if I'm only 15. It doesn't matter if I'm just using the song because I like it, and it doesn't matter if I just want to entertain people with the video. The point is that it isn't my song, therefore Youtube can't allow it...but would BC Network take it as seriously if I were to post a video on here that uses a BC song?
